It is possible to order customisations and engravings on-line. After choosing a medal, token or any other item that may be engraved, click on ‘Add an engraving’ bottom right. You will then be asked to follow four steps:

1st step: Choice of engraving technique – hand or mechanical engraving.
Hand engraving is a painstaking operation, which enhances the value of your chosen inscription. Given the high levels of demand, an extra two weeks is required compared to an order without engraving.
Mechanical engraving gives excellent results. An extra week is required compared to an order without engraving.

2nd step: Choice of engraving font.
Several fonts are available, depending on the technique chosen in the previous step.
Vertical script, upright, so-called English style script, sloping and more flowing, a child’s writing, less traditional but more personal.

3rd step: Choice of text position.
You are given a choice of different text positions (usually first name and/or date), depending on the chosen font.

4th step: Choice of engraving text.
Depending on the choices made in the previous steps, you are then required to enter the ‘First name’ and/or ‘Date’ fields that you would like to have engraved. The date may be inscribed in one of two ways: either in figures (14.3.2006), or with the month written in full (14th March 2006).
Please specify the first name and date clearly, as this information will appear in the engraving exactly as indicated, and cannot be corrected or amended once the order has been placed.

After following these four steps, you can then validate your inscription.

Examples of special inscriptions:

Fac-similé: your own handwriting reproduced in the layout of your choice.

Escargot: several first names engraved in a spiral.

Monogramme: engraving comprising one, two or three intertwined initials.

Disque: first name, date, or personal message inscribed below.

Silhouette: first name engraved diagonally or in keeping with motif.
