In the expert hands of Arthus-Bertrand, gold is stamped, melted, sculpted, set, but it is also often engraved. In fact, the decorations and medals that were initially produced by Maison Arthus-Bertrand could not be presented unless engraved with a name and a date. This is still the case for many of them.
For this reason, it was only natural to want to apply this know-how to Maison Arthus-Bertrand’s jewellery (e.g. birth medals, religious or secular, baby’s identity bracelets), to enhance their beauty with a finely engraved message, commemorating a date, a thought, a feeling.
The ‘Messages’ range provides the ideal occasion to utter a few kind words that remind us of an anniversary, birth, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Valentine’s Day...
Customers can choose:
- The base: a wavy disc, a wavy disc with openwork heart motif, heart, button, pebble, disc from the Cœur de Miel or Lune de miel collections
- Gold: yellow, pink or white
- Polish: matt or shiny
- The message: "You", "You and Me", "Mummy", "I love you, Mummy", "We love you, Mummy", My Mummy", … or a special message
- The best script will be chosen for the inscription: flowing, child-like, upright, …
- A coloured silken cord, leather tie or chain will transform it into a pendant or bracelet.
More personal messages can, of course, be engraved on demand on most jewellery items, as well as on our ‘one-of-a-kind creations’ to surprise, amuse, delight and make you unique.
There are few words that can express tenderness, love or affection. When engraved on a medal, and accompanied by an image or a symbol, they can be left unuttered, made only to be murmured in perpetuity...
